	Embark on the only elephant adventure at a UNESCO-sanctioned Global Geopark in the world at the Oriental Village on your next trip to Langkawi. Ride an elephant into the foothills of Mt. Machincang–the oldest rock formation in the region–for a unique elephant-back riding experience. A truly Malaysian experience awaits you at the Oriental Village, Langkawi.
	We arrived on Langkawi in 2006 and commenced operations on April 29 that same year, offering elephant rides to visitors at the Orientail Village. Since our humble beginnings under an umbrella, we have catered to adventurers from more than 70 countriesWe currently feature Lasah–our sole bull elephant–in a couple ride options (see below).

ADVENTURE / TRAIL OPTIONS
GEOPARK ADVENTURES (JUNGLE RIDES)
	Ride an elephant into the the secondary forests of Mt. Machincang, adjacent to the Oriental Village. At 550 million years, Mt. Machincang is the oldest rock formation in the region and often referred to as the birthplace of the region.
	Visitors will ride elephant-back in our elephant riding basket, which may accommodate up to two (2) adults or one (1) adult and two (2) small children, subject to terms and conditions. Each adventure will take approximately 20 minutes and includes souvenir photographs.

FUN RIDES

ELEPHANT FEEDING SESSIONS
	We do not offer entry tickets for sale and only those with unused elephant ride tickets will be permitted entry. However, should anyone not fancy a ride but would like to meet Lasah, visitors may purchase elephant food for the elephant. Limited availability per day.
