Finding Us at the Oriental Village, Langkawi
Nestled at the foothills of Mt. Machincang–the centrepiece of Langkawi Geopark–lies the quaint Oriental Village. The Oriental Village is a collection of more than 50 different retailers, F&B outlets and activity providers including the world-class Langkawi Cable Car.
Langkawi Elephant Adventures is located adjacent to Langkawi Cable Car at the Oriental Village.
The Oriental Village
The Oriental Village is probably more popularly known as home to Langkawi Cable Car, the best tourist attraction in the country. The Oriental Village is located in the Burau Bay area, in the north-western corner of Langkawi Island, about 600m before the Seven Wells Waterfalls.
Getting There
If you are driving yourself around Langkawi, do get a copy of one of several maps that are available on arrival at the airport or the ferry terminal. Look out for a copy of Langkawi Link the only traveler's guide you need to Langkawi.
Otherwise, all taxi drivers and tour guides are familiar will know their way to the Oriental Village. It is, after all, the most visited destination on Langkawi.
